Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir producer and director Shigeo Komori recently talked about the game in an interview with Famitsu. He also showed off two new tracks as his first post on Atlus’ official blog page for the game.

Komori wrote on the blog that in order to carry over the mood from Etrian Odyssey II to Etrian Odyssey Untold II, he chose these two orthodox songs, which he also had trouble choosing from all the other wonderful tracks.

The first (above) is titled “Labyrinth | The Sea of Trees of the Ancient Remains”.

Next is the “First Campaign Battlefield” track.

“I may have written a similar comment before, but I love all the Etrian Odyssey series we’ve had up until now,” Komori said. “And those of you who aren’t feeling the new series, please wait for the next main numbered title.”

Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir will release this winter in Japan for Nintendo 3DS.
