The Choco-Banana and Cat Paw items are new interrogation items, a feature that trains the Ranger Corps girls in how to resist enemy interrogation tactics. We’ve also seen some pretty strange items, like… fermented beans and cockroaches in our earlier report. These items cost 200 yen, each.

In Bullet Girls, there’s a character by the name Meika Hoshikawa who is the advisor of the Ranger Corps. While she’s the default navigation character, who helps out in the story with results and updates, the DLC adds alternate characters for the role.

These characters can also be “touched” whenever they’re on the screen helping you out. Here’s a look at the new characters, who were previously just members of the Ranger Corps. They each go for 150 yen.

Hmm, I’ll probably get the interrogation items :)

  • devilmaycry0917

Sony’s vita policy which only allows 1 PSN account per console is anti-consumer

    • http://hanzoadam.tumblr.com/ Hanzoadam

Yeap, I wont be experiencing any of this DLC due to this, the amount of DLC for Extra content I’ve had over the years for Vita games I can’t use =[

      • 21603

I’ve permanently changed my Vita to my Canadian account to take advantage of lower PSN prices. Unfortunately I can no longer use any DLC for any game I have or buy locally. Since it’s Australia though, I’m trying hard to phase out buying locally because the prices and our PSN are a load of rubbish.

    • Alter

No, because i can run same game from same account on up to 3 Vita simultaneously.

      • Erde

Yeah, and you can do that on a PS3 to this date and even with a account of different region, thus mixing and matching different region games and their respective DLC. Try to do that on the Vita without re-formating.

      • 21603

Which I plan on taking advantage of come Wednesday for SAO. Really drives me nuts with that single user account crap though.

      • planetofthemage

He meant the other way around. You can only have one account on your console at a time. You can have your account on several consoles, but no more than one per console.

    • SoundMatch

Yeah didnt know what I was getting my self into, thought everyone was saying 1 Account per stick not 1 account per stick and a 7 min format.
Whats worse is that I thought I backed up all my saves and data but turns out I read the content manager wrong and I lost my 100+Toukiden Save.

Hope this account system is fixable, why cant they just make it so you can switch regions? Anybody know?

  • John Hayabusa

I do not think that my gun is ready with all this sexiness.

  • fyi1191

    Seriously D3, DLC already?

    • Duo Maxwell

Are you new to gaming post 2010, perhaps?

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Leafy_Cam Leafhopper

Hello welcome to the last 6 years. I hope you enjoyed your cryosleep.

Here are there are these things called “Season Passes” and “subscriptions” to shit your probably don’t need.

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

    Preordered and waiting.

    • http://hanzoadam.tumblr.com/ Hanzoadam

      ditto =]

      • waterblaze123

@FitzpatrickPhillips:disqus @hanzoadam:disqus Would it be alright if I add you two on PSN? Since you are getting the game as well.

        • http://hanzoadam.tumblr.com/ Hanzoadam

Of course please do, my psn is Hanzoadam

        • FitzpatrickPhillips

          Sure, my PSN is JapOnsoo

  • Renaldi Saputra

    Money milking at its best

  • http://hanzoadam.tumblr.com/ Hanzoadam

Though I won’t be experiencing any of the DLC

Am very looking forward to my copy getting shipped the end of the month with my amiami order, I think it’s going to be a lot of fun to play, I’ve got a feeling its going to be a very easy to pick up and play game hopefully =]

    • waterblaze123

Same ONE Day! We will be able to switch Vita accounts over to just comfortably buy DLC for it but I am looking forward to it! Already paid and waiting for it to be shipped.

Picking this and Neptunia U up

  • Yan Zhao

    Did someone say, bananas?

  • Limbless

I really hope D3 is aware there’s an English-speaking market for this game.

Oh and DLC a shit, but what can you do. Way of the world now, and the fire will only rise.

    • Renaldi Saputra

D3 is aware of English-speaking market, you can see there are some shooting game exclusive for westerners by D3. This one is most likely exclusive for Japan like Dream Club series are. They rarely localize games IIRC

    • http://twitter.com/#!/kaishou Kaishou

      >English-speaking market for this game

      Wow…ok sure there is.

      • Limbless

Uh… Yes? Were you asleep when the whole Senran Kagura thing happened?

        • Renaldi Saputra

but this isn’t even senran kagura

          • darke

Sure; but Senran Kagura wasn’t Senran Kagura once; it was just a girl stripping game.

No idea how well this would sell, since I can’t see dudebro shooter fans falling over it; but it’d be an interesting experiment to see how well girls-with-guns sells vs girls-with-swords in a market that seems to prefer gun-games.

        • http://twitter.com/#!/kaishou Kaishou

Can’t wait for Western reviewers to get their hands on this if it ever DOES get localized. Seeing how this is D3, I highly doubt that.

  • http://youtube.com/kuyamagix iKen

Cat paws and banana’s. Guess I’m sold!

But nah, for real. DLC at the same time the game is released. Just no, man. IMO, they should’ve at least waited a few weeks/months before feeding us with DLC.

It’s like Renaldi posted, it’s money milking at it’s best…

  • Spidermang

    Time to get a vita

  • 21603

Would really love this, but I couldn’t decide between it or a retail copy of Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus. A Garage Kit decided my purchase for me and now I have to pay for that instead.

  • Death Metal

Would definitely buy if available in English.

    • kurbstar2

Highly doubtful. It’s D3 Publisher’s game, and they hardly bring anything over from Japan anymore, except for EDF

      • Death Metal

        True and sad, buddy.

  • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

I hope there is a change for this to get localized or even become a franchise like Senran Kagura did.

    • Zurashii

If the story even came close to Senran Kagura’s maybe. But if not then it’s better to just import it.

  • Bob Slim

Dang I wont be able to get any dlc when I get the game oh well

  • Kayriss Wins

They should add characters from this show as DLC:
