CyberConnect2, makers of the .hack series and Naruto fighting game titles for Bandai Namco, recently held their “CC2 Summer Campaign 2014” talk event, where they revealed that they’re currently working on a major project. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]
CyberConnect2 has created original games in the past such as Tail Concerto and Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, but both of those were passion projects rather than major releases.
According to president and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama, CyberConnect2 are in the midst of developing a major original title. He also mentioned that they’d like to properly announce it in the near future.
With the recently announce SCEJA Press Conference 2014 and this year’s Tokyo Game Show around the corner, it sounds like we might be hearing about their new title sooner than later.
