Dragon Ball Xenoverse Recruiting PS3 Players For A Network Test

By Spencer . August 21, 2014 . 11:19pm

Bandai Namco plans on testing Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s online play way before the game launches. Starting August 21, and until September 17 players can register to join the PlayStation 3 network test by logging on to the Japanese store and downloading a Network Test Application Ticket for Dragon Ball Xenoverse. The first wave of testers will get access to Dragon Ball Xenoverse on September 19 and another group will join the test on October 3. Participants will be randomly selected and notified by email.

Bandai Namco emphasizes this is not a demo for Dragon Ball Xenoverse, it’s just a network test and the final game may be different. Also, any data from the network test will not transfer over into the retail game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

  • So what exactly IS a network test?

    • Daniel

Sounds like theyre just testing the network infrastructure or whatever to see how online play is in various conditions and thats all it is meaning the game you are playing could end up radically different from the one that arrives or possibly not is what theyre saying to my understanding at least

  • Lloyd Christmas
