Classic Capcom Fighting Games Are Coming Back To Arcades In Japan

Capcom announced a project to bring some of their fighting game classics back to Japanese arcades. New arcade machines with Hyper Street Fighter II, Darkstalkers 3, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, and Street Fighter Alpha 3 are in development.

These reissued machines will use Taito’s NESiCAxLive to save player data like a win/loss record and points for online rankings. Capcom will also utilize widescreen monitors that show a character’s special attacks in the borders. A release date for all four arcade machines have not been announced.
