New Way Of The Samurai Game In The Works For Vita

Spike Chunsoft might be best known for Danganronpa and Zero Escape in the West, but Way of the Samurai is one of their longest running series. During Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, a new Way of the Samurai title was announced for PlayStation Vita.

Way of the Samurai 4 was released on PS3 and developed by Acquire. Xseed released the game in North America and NIS America brought the title to Europe.

No wonder as WotS 4 on PS3 already looked like a Vita game. I guess they couldn’t be arsed to make a proper game on PS4.

I thought it was saying it’s not Way of the Samurai, they slashed to make a does not equal sign didn’t they?

Huh? Acquire are the developers of Way of the Samurai series, not Spike-Chunsoft.

Writer never said they developed it, just that they were known for making it possible, which they were, as they are the publishers.

In fact it says at the end that Acquire developed WotS4 for PS3, unless of course this was edited within the last 2 hours, in which case I’ll shut up. :3

Great! I hoped for a WotS game on the Vita! Please give us WotS 3 and 4 ports too!

I have a love-hate with Spike right now. I’m pumped we’re getting a WotS for the Vita but I still hate them for making the new Kenka Bancho a 3DS only release. I mean really? 3DS? :/
