natdoc-ps4 Natural Doctrine will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 on September 30 in North America and October 3 in Europe. The strategy RPG has mostly the same content across all three systems except for a set of PlayStation 4 exclusive DLC missions. In Japan, these were announced way after Natural Doctrine launched.

Siliconera confirmed with NIS America that the PS4 challenge missions where Jeff enters the Gorian Hive and battles the Gorian Queen. Just like Japan, these missions will be PlayStation 4 exclusive content.

Also, the patch with easy mode and a battle speed up option will be included in the US build. Kadokawa Games added more multiplayer missions, an additional tutorial, tips on how to clear levels, and increased checkpoints in the update, too. This was released as a downloadable update in Japan.

Seems strange to release the exclusive content only on PS4 other than trying to convince people to get that version i wonder what the reasoning was

  • Alex Sargeant

Well, that decides what platform I get it on then.

    Does this have cross play?

  • I never see anyone doing the last battle to this game. Is it possible to get really high stats by the end, or is it one of those games where you always stay in the 3 digit realm?

with the patch included in the game, that’s day 1 for me.
SRPG are more fun on handheld… i hope the VITA ver worth the money.

This’ll be fun to get on ps4, and sped up battles HUZZAH!! I hope the tips are optional though.

  • Jeff? The main guy’s name is Jeff? That’s a bummer.

Still looking forward to it, though I’m gonna get it on PS3. i love strategy games, but I hardly finish them, so I don’t think I’ll be missing out on much without getting this extra content.
