Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century Limited Edition Includes Purple Heart Graphig

c In addition to the Neptunia Victory remake, the limited edition includes a situation CD, a Purple Heart graphig, and a Trading Gamindustri Neptune Unlimited Vs. special card.

 

Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century pre-orders include a code to download a Nepunique~shon (a portmanteau of Neptune and communication) event.

 

Next year, Idea Factory International will bring Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 Sisters Generation to the West. It seems likely they will localize Neptunia Re;Birth 3 V Century too.

    I still didn’t forget how badly Idea Factory International screwed up the last time with preorders for a Neptunia limited edition release.

    I hope they have made good on their promise to do better this time. A lot of fans were burnt with the previous limited edition effort.

      Forgive me for asking this, but how did they screw up the pre-ordering?

      The US release didn’t include the ones they did with the JP version?

        If I remember correctly, the limited edition was supposed to be limited to one per customer, but there was no restriction placed, so all the limited edition bonuses were quickly sold out.

        They didn’t allow pre-orders to take place until the game’s release date. They also only had 1000 available and lots of fans were stuck in the ordering phase by the time the allocations were sold. So, lots of fans were waiting until midnight and many weren’t able to get the LE, even though they had it in their cart.

      I appreciate them releasing these games in the West, but I agree, I hope they make good on their promise to better handle the limited edition releases in the West.

      Aside from the limited number, which was clearly explained on the
      announcement of the LE which was done well in advance, the issues were not on IFI’s end, they were on Amazon’s.
      Saying they screwed up badly and burnt fans is just asinine.

        I know. I should have been more specific. I just hope they learned to do better business with Amazon or choose a better outlet next time. They are at least partially responsible though I agree most of it is Amazon’s fault.

          They have no control over Amazon saying one thing and doing another. “Learn to do better buiness with Amazon” is not an applicable statement. There was no actual problem that can be attributed to IFI.

          Known well in advance limited numbers of a limited edition is not a legitimate problem beyond person grievances.

            Whether they demand more out of Amazon or they try other outlets, that really depends. Don’t get so snappy about it. I am not saying it’s all IFI’s fault. I posted months ago that I think they will likely make it up. And they themselves said they aim to improve.

            Also, I don’t really care about ‘limited’ wording too much. I just hope people can have a decent chance at it instead of fighting scalpers to get at it. That’s the problem in that reselling eats too much into the number of people who just want to buy it to keep it.

          I agree that it still needs to be fixed and planned better though. Either supply some more “limited editions” or a better outlet that will not crash or allow scalpers to take advantage. The whole process, which I include everyone, created a problem. 1000 at the stroke of midnight for the entire Western world as preorders? What is this a black friday lightning sale? lol.

            Yeah. The fact it was a scalper’s dream is why it irked so many people. I hope they can at least expand to 5000 units ( hell, even do 10k maybe) and do one unit per person.

      Honestly, the whole thing could’ve been planned a lot better. I understand it was Amazon’s fault, but their excuse for only making 1000 copies of the LE was “We only have 1000 of these silly Nep straps that were on the JP edition”.

      Well, allow pre-orders and state “The first 1000 pre-orders will also feature an exclusive Nep strap!”. There, no more problems and they coul’ve even sold more.

    um…. not to rag on a game i like but…..didint victory come out last year? why reamake now unless you are getting rid of those DUMB CREDIT REQUIREMENTS TO CONTINUE THE STORY!!
