We previously reported that 7-Eleven will be one of the retailers to give away exclusive content for fans preordering Tales of Zestiria at the store. The game’s official website shows us what else will be included as part of the collaboration.
The first is part of an “Ichiban Kuji” lottery ball that’s often seen in Japan, where you can pay a small fee for a chance to win prizes. Depending on the type of ball you end up with after a spin, you can get some nice prizes.
The most sought-out prize will likely be the A-rank prize, which is a special 20th anniversary poster featuring characters from the series.
Next, you have B, C, and D ranks showing a Tales of Memorial cake, an 18cm Cheria Barnes figure, and a Drama CD featuring an original story along with a mini-poster, which sounds pretty awesome for a “D prize”.
The above E, F, and G prizes are three face-towels, images that can be used in Zestiria to obtain 7-Eleven costumes, and rubber straps.
For the lucky person to draw the very last ball will get a special short-haired version Luke fon Fabre figure. As part of a “double chance” campaign, 100 lucky winners who’ve already played the Ichiban Kuji game can get a special Ludger Kresnik figure.
Each roll will cost you 620 yen to try out, but it sounds like it’d be hard to resist trying more than once!
Part two of the collaboration is a wafer chocolate snack that features one out of 27 possible cards to win.
The above is a look at the Metallic Cards that come in nine variations and have the characters along with a quote of theirs.
I’m not exactly sure what a “Moving Card” is, but it sounds like one of those cards with images that change as you move its angle. These also come in nine varieties.
These special cards can connect to make a larger image. These come in nine varieties as well.
And finally, the third part of the collaboration is all about Sorey. This one you can only get from preordering the game at 7-Eleven, and they’ll give you a product code for a 7-Eleven costume, and an exclusive healing ability for Sorey, with a 7-Eleven motif going on in its animation.
Tales of Zestiria is slated for release in Japan on January 22, 2015 for PlayStation 3.
