Square Enix Haven’t Forgotten About The Mana Series

Recommended Videos

Earlier this year, Square Enix mentioned the possibility of the next major Mana game coming in the next two years, and it appears Rise of Mana producer Masaru Oyamada hasn’t forgotten about it. He recently shared a message for fans in a developers feature with 4Gamer.

“With 2016 being Mana‘s 25th, anniversary, I believe it will be a year of making all kinds of preparations for it,” said Oyamada when asked to comment about 2015. “We’re working our best so we can offer something to everyone that has been waiting in anticipation.”

If you’re worried that the next Mana game will just end up being another mobile title like Rise of Mana, Oyamada previously shared his thoughts on how he’d like to make something for the fans wanting to play a Mana game on consoles.
