Pokémon Gets A New Set Of Playing Cards By Nintendo

Pokemon-Omega-Ruby-Alpha-Sapphire-kyorgre The Pokémon franchise already has a popular trading card game that’s been going on for years, but now it also has a set of playing card games. On their official site, Nintendo have shared a look at latest Pokémon playing card set.   2015-02-23_052216 imgPokemonTrumpORAS The above is a look at the playing cards for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Similar to the games, they also have their own unique Pokémon depending on which version you get, except they’ll both get the same Joker cards.   The playing cards shown above will release next month in Japan, for 500 yen a pack.

Nintendo also released one for Pokémon X and Y back in December of 2013.   2015-02-23_052312 imgPokemonTrump2 The playing cards that released in September of 2012 for Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 actually featured additional information such as the Pokémon’s type, characteristics, height, and weight on the cards.
