The adventurers of Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will soon get a taste of the “Manderville Gold Saucer” once Patch 2.51 goes live in a few hours. Square Enix have provided the full patch notes, which you can check out while waiting.
While the Gold Saucer and its many activities are the main attraction of the Patch 2.51 update, there are several other additions that come with the new version update.
The above are two new aesthetician hairstyles that will be added.
One big addition is from the rewards for the quest “The Gift of the Archmagus”. Previously, the weekly quest rewarded players with an Allagan Catalyst, along with a Carboncoat used to upgrade Ironworks accessories.
Carbontwine, which is used to upgrade Ironworks armor, was previously only available through the Final Coil of Bahamut. Now, these items will be added to the weekly quest, that will only require you to run the three 24-man raids, instead.
There’s also a new Gold Saucer category under the character menu, where you can check out all of your extra stats. This is also where you can check out your racing Chocobo’s parameters, along with a list of all your Triple Triad cards and decks.
Check out the full report for more details on how to play the Chocobo Racing game with its controls, along with details on how you can begin playing the Triple Triad card game. You can also check out our earlier report for additional information and a closer look at the Gold Saucer.
