More of SNK Playmore’s fighting games are about to be re-released as PlayStation 3 compatible PS2 Classics in Japan. KOF: Maximum Impact 2 aka The King of Fighters 2006 in the West, The King of Fighters 2003, and Samurai Shodown V will be available in Japan on April 15.

Samurai Shodown V has new characters designed by Rurouni Kenshi creator Nobuhiro Watsuki. The PS2 version was not released in North America, but since PS2 Classics are region free you will be able to digitally import the game from Japan’s PlayStation Store.
