Shokugeki no Soma Is Getting A Mobile Game Later This Year

Recommended Videos

The popular Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma manga recently began airing its new anime a few weeks ago, and Bandai Namco announced that they’re working on a new smartphone game, called Shokugeki no Soma: The Ultimate Recipe which will release later this year.

The newly opened website for the game doesn’t share much as far as gameplay goes, but they say that Shokugeki no Soma: The Ultimate Recipe will be based off the manga, and has the genre of “food war action”.

We’re not exactly sure what kind of gameplay we’ll see from the food war action title, but judging by the screenshot, it appears to play like a rhythm game with various cooking going on in the background.

Shokugeki no Soma: The Ultimate Recipe will release later this year for iPhone and Android devices. The game will be free-to-play with micro-transactions.
