Square Enix and Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata recently shared the latest of the Episode Duscae demo in yesterday’s Active Time Report stream, where we got a look at some new footage from the update.
As shown in the above footage, the 2.0 patch will allow players to fight against the giant dinosaur-like monster called the Catoblepas. These beasts are said to be extremely strong, so Noctis and friends will need to get their act together in order to take it down.
Tabata also talked about how Final Fantasy XV is not Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and went into detail on some of the changes that are being made, along with what’s being kept from the original game. You can read more about it in our report.
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0 will launch on June 9th, 2015. More details on the demo update’s content will be announced in the near future.
