Final Fantasy XV Even Has New Shaders To Make Food Look More Realistic

If you want to see what’s under the hood of Final Fantasy XV check out this video of the Luminous Engine. The staff developing Square Enix’s RPG talks about how they made details like car paint and food look more realistic.

The Luminous Engine also powers enemy artificial intelligence so monsters can react to situations and have complicated movement paths that designers can see when planning battles.

Final Fantasy XV is in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
