In hearing the news of Nintendo president Satoru Iwata’s passing, fans are finding various ways to pay tribute to the man, with one of these initiatives being #RaceForIwata. 
The idea is to scan the QR code in the image above to create Iwata’s Mii in your Wii U and then to race as him in Mario Kart 8. Other fans who are also artists have drawn their tributes to Iwata as you can see below.
