Extreme are rebooting Langrisser with the series’ first title in 15 years with Langrisser Re: Incarnation which releases for Nintendo 3DS next week in Japan. The latest videos show us more from the different factions of the game.
The Brightness faction is an organization that centers around the church that follows the Goddess known as Luciris. In order to fight against the powerful empire, they’ve been boosting their military, and hope to see the arrival of one that can use the “Langrisser” once the world finds itself in danger.
The Imperials have the most powerful military, led by a grand family with a sky fortress called the “Ark,” which is said to have been left behind by ancient civilizations, and they use it to control most of the continent.
Recently, they’ve been putting in effort in building railways so they can get railway artillery across the land and take over other countries with their military force.
The Darkness faction are those that don’t belong in neither the Imperial or Brightness. They’ve been oppressed by the other factions, but they have people that are said to have special powers. They follow a man known as “Bozel the Prince of Darkness,” who unites the group.
The Vigilance Committee are consist of the protagonist and his comrades, they’ll look to resolve the issue going on between the three factions of the game.

Langrisser Re: Incarnation will release in Japan on July 23, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
