Amnesia: Memories is an otome game with built in what if storylines. The core story starts with the heroine in the same predicament – she lost her memories, but cannot tell her boyfriend she doesn’t remember him.
Amnesia: Memories goes in vastly different directions depending on the "suit" or story you choose. Even minor characters like Waka, the manager at the maid cafe the heroine works at, has a very different personality.
In Ikki’s story (Spade route), Waka scolds the heroine as if she was under his command.
In comparison, Waka is kind to the heroine in Ukyo’s story (Joker route).
Meanwhile, Waka is quiet in Kent’s story (Clover route)…
… and cold in Toma’s story (Diamond route).
That’s a little sample of how the world in Amnesia: Memories changes depending on the route you select in the beginning of the game. Idea Factory International has the English version scheduled to come out for PlayStation Vita and Steam in August.
