Eastasiasoft Says Rainbow Skies Runs At 60fps On PlayStation Vita

Hong Kong-based publisher Eastasiasoft has shared the first screenshot of SideQuest Studios’s upcoming RPG sequel Rainbow Skies on the PlayStation Vita.

Along with it, the publisher says that Rainbow Skies is currently running at 60 frames per second on the handheld console. This is especially good news with all the recent bad news about upcoming PS Vita games getting cancelled or delayed due to technical issues.

Rainbow Skies is the sequel to Rainbow Moon, however, it features a new cast of characters, a completely new story, and has new features including capturing and upgrading monsters and a new advanced battle system with skill combining attacks.

Last year, it was announced that Rainbow Skies would be coming out on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2015. This projected date hasn’t been pulled by Eastasiasoft say the game is still in development and can’t say when it might be out.
