Atlus and Vanillaware are working on an HD project title called Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, a two-in-one HD remake and port of the PlayStation 2 game. 4Gamer shares a look at the latest with some new screenshots for the game.
As previously reported, Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir adds new battle actions, maps, animations, and a new fighting system that will give it a familiar sense of control like one you’d get from Dragon’s Crown or Muramasa.
The three kinds of stages consist of the “Free Stage” where you’ll do your key exploration, the “Battle stage” that features battles, and the “Rest Stage” where you can purchase goods from NPCs.
There are various items to collect, along with different setups for the stages.
The above is a look at some of the new monsters we’ll see in the upcoming remake.
Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir adds plenty of new features to the game, but it’ll still retain most of its familiar core, such as its in-depth character growth and skill system, and its memorable story.
For those of you who wish to play it in its original version, you’ll get to do just so in with the HD port in its Classic Mode. Additionally, the game offers a cross-save function between the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
