Intergalactic Love Machine reduces the dating sim to a series of multiple choice scenarios. The idea is to flirt with aliens to win them over and to avoid hurting their feelings with insults. It was made for the game jam Ludum Dare 33 with the them “You Are The Monster.”
You get three lives to seduce as many alien girls as you can. You lose a life every time you respond incorrectly so you can get through those lives pretty quickly.
Mostly, the game is guesswork, however, you should be able to get a feeling for the kind of responses each alien girl wants to hear. One might want you to be assertive, another may prefer you be to cute – it’s up to you to measure them up. One alien enjoys her nose being touched so you have to find it and give it a rub.
And anyway, even if you do die, the questions and answers are the same each time you replay, so if you don’t get through the entire game on first try, just give it another go and memorize the sequence.
