Galaxy Trail Games has announced that high-speed 2D action-platformer Freedom Planet will be out for Wii U in North America on October 1st.

It’ll also be coming to Europe but will be a bit longer. “For EU, we’re trying hard to release it as early as possible, but apparently it won’t be ready until November? We’ll try and speed it along,” said Galaxy Trail lead Steve DiDuro.

Freedom Planet was originally supposed to be out for Wii U on August 3rd but was hit by a critical bug. It was then delayed another two times before getting its final release date of October 1st.
