QuinRose, Otome Creator, Facing Financial Problems

On September 25, Artmove suspended its business, citing various productivity problems. As parent company of QuinRose, a popular otome game creator, this means the developer’s activities have been suspended. This comes after the September 21 release of Genji Koi Emaki, a Heian period otome for the PlayStation Vita inspired by the Tale of Genji.

QuinRose is best known for Windows PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation Vita games. Some of its most famous series are Alice in the Country of Hearts, Arabian’s Lost, and Crimson Empire. Artmove and QuinRose have not issued a statement concerning the scheduled releases of the PlayStation Vita ports of Majo-Ou, Black Code, and Crimson Royale ~Circumstances to Serve a Noble~, which were all scheduled to be released in the last quarter of 2015.

The only QuinRose game localization is Alice in the Country of Hearts, which was localized for Apple iOS and Android devices as Alice in the Heart. It is still immediately available for mobile platforms for $24.99 for a no voice full package and $37.99 for a voiced full package download.
