Harmonia Hoping For Players’ Approval On Steam Greenlight

Earlier this week, Visual Arts confirmed that Harmonia, a 15th anniversary, kinetic visual novel from Key, would get an English release. It had been mentioned before, but this was the official announcement that the game would receive English and Japanese releases within the same time window. Visual Arts is hoping to release the game via Steam, but before that it must make it through Steam Greenlight.

A kinetic visual novel is one that tells a story without offering players options to influence the direction. In Harmonia, players follow a newly awakened Phiroid named Rei. While most Phiroids are robots capable of exhibiting emotions, Rei wakes up in a destroyed facility and has none. He wants to learn to feel and travels the world hoping to make connections. He meets two women, a girl named Shiona who treats him like a human and a younger, sadder girl named Tipi. By interacting with them, he may grow closer to accomplishing his goal.
