Nintendo Badge Arcade Receiving More Frequent Updates

The Japanese Collectible Badge Center has a certain schedule. Every Friday, new grabbers and sets are added to the arcade. They tend to be available for a week. In North America, however, the Nintendo Badge Arcade is receiving new sets at a greatly increased rate.

On Saturday, BoxBoy! grabbers were added and everyone received one free play. On Sunday, the Nintendo Badge Arcade saw the debut of Super Mario Maker badges and another free play. Today, there are Mario Kart 8 grabbers, but no free play to test out the five machines with those badges.

In addition, grabbers tend to expire more quickly in the Nintendo Badge Arcade. Machines can be there as briefly as one or two days.

The Nintendo Badge Arcade has been available in North America for the Nintendo 3DS since November 10.
