Fairy Tail Creator And A Couple Champions Take On Lagiacrus In Monster Hunter X

While Monster Hunter X won’t have any monster subspecies, it’s bringing back Lagiacrus, the flagship Lord of the Seas of Monster Hunter Tri, who wasn’t around for Monster Hunter 4 but is looking to bring back the terror in electric fashion. Here’s a look at the latest video showcasing a Lagi fight.

The footage is from the latest episode of Capcom TV! where Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima, who happens to be a big Monster Hunter fan and also author of the manga Monster Hunter Orage, teams up with Team Infinity, the duo that took the crown at the MonHun Festa 2015 tournament, to take on a Lagiacrus. The gameplay starts at around the 4:55 mark of the video.

Monster Hunter X will release in Japan on November 28, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
