Xbox 360 Players Are Closest To Nuclear Disarmament In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has a secret ending. To get it, every users on the regional server for your particular platform must get rid of their nuclear weapons. If met, a Nuclear Disarmament Event will occur in the game. Konami has been keeping track of how many nuclear weapons are still owned per platform since November 1, and the latest update shows people with Microsoft consoles may be more willing to give peace a chance.

The latest figures for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain nukes, as of November 29, put the Xbox 360 and Xbox One as closest to nuclear disarmament. Only 35 nukes remain in the Xbox 360 version of the game and 52 in the Xbox One version. This is down from the November 1 figures of 1,011 for the Xbox 360 and 525 for the Xbox One.

After Microsoft’s platforms, Sony’s systems are second closest to earning the Nuclear Disarmament Event in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. 140 nukes remain in the PlayStation 3 version and 188 in the PlayStation 4. Considering there were 1,685 nukes in the PlayStation 3 version on November 1 and 2,761 in the PlayStation 4 version on November 1, people have come quite a long way.

Windows PC players currently have the most nuclear weapons. On November 1, the number was 36,552. That came down to 15,691 as of November 25. The most recent figure is 11,473.
