Recommended Videos

We previously reported that Sceptile could be the newest character to join in on Pokkén Tournament, and Bandai Namco made it official by announcing just that with an official introduction trailer for the Grass-type Pokémon.

The above is a look at the Sceptile trailer. This makes him the first Grass-type playable Pokémon, and joins the roster that currently consists of Charizard, Pikachu, Pikachu Libre, Machamp, Gengar, Suicune, Blaziken, Gardevoir, Lucario, Weavile, and Shadow Mewtwo.

Pokkén Tournament is currently available on arcade and will release in Japan for Wii U on March 18, 2016, and in spring 2016 for the West.
