Wipeout Composer Reimagines His Original Music In New Album

Recommended Videos

The latest album from game composer and musician Tim Wright, aka CoLD SToRAGE, reimagines the 14 tracks of the original Wipeout soundtrack. The album is called Ch’illout” and is available to pre-order until January 31st.

Wright was the composer of Wipeout’s music when it came out back in 1995. It’s a mix of dance tracks meant to get your pulse racing while you played the game. But this new album turns those tracks into ambient and chilled mixes.

This album is the first physical CD released by Wright. It includes two CDs that will be presented in “luxury packaging.” That includes original artwork from previous Psygnosis artists that worked on Wipeout and a full colour double sided poster.

Those who do pre-order Ch’illout” are put into the draw to win one of three rare copies of the Strix Memoria USB album as well as a one-off CoLD SToRAGE hoodie.
