Another one of Velvet Crowe’s Tales of Berseria companions has been revealed. She’ll be accompanied by Laphicet, a master artes wielder with a tragic past. He’s only 10 years old and will be voiced by Azumi Asakura in Japan. (Velvet is 19.)
Laphicet spent most of his life as an emotionless tool, due to his exceptional skill in using artes. He didn’t even have a name and acted totally under a master’s orders. (Bandai Namco hasn’t revealed who gave him the name Laphicet.) As such, he begins Tales of Berseria with few emotions and no idea how to behave. Gradually, he connects with Velvet, is able to grow as a result of their travels, and Bandai Namco describes him as an “anchor” for her.
Tales of Berseria has a 2016 worldwide release window. It will come to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
