The King of Fighters XIV has received its seventh trailer. In the latest footage, which is under a minute in length, people get to see Tung Fu Rue, Choi Bounge, and Chin Gentsai. (In that order, even!)
Tung Fu Rue first appeared in the original Fatal Fury. He was Jeff Bogard and Geese Howard’s Hakkyokuseiken instructor. He was first made playable in The King of Fighters series in The King of Fighters XI, as he was a hidden character in the PlayStation 2 version of the game. (You had to complete Challenge 25.)
Choi Bounge will be appearing in his original, Freddy Krueger style outfit in The King of Fighters XIV. He first appeared in The King of Fighters ‘94 and has been a series staple since.
Chin Gentsai also made his first appearance in The King of Fighters XIV. He’s Athena Asamiya, Sie Kensou, and Bao’s mentor. Like Choi, he’s been a series regular for years.
The King of Fighters XIV will be coming to the PlayStation 4 in 2016. The game will have over 50 characters for players to choose from.
