Mega Man Redux Gives Original Blue Bomber A New Look

Rom hacker Amaweks has released a patch that overhauls all of the visuals of the original Mega Man. Called Mega Man Redux, it looks to add more color and change the overall style of the game.

The rom hack redesigns almost every tile and sprite, adjusts many of the color palettes to be better in keeping with the new visuals, and adds many more background effects in stages that were previously blank or nearly-empty.

The hack is available for the US version of the rom, and can be downloaded for free.
