The PlayStation Vita version of Stranger of Sword City has been released in North America. To prepare people, NIS America has released a launch trailer showcasing the vocaloid theme song and showcasing some of the game’s more important characters. It begins with Rui watching the video of the plane crash that will bring the avatar to Escario, then takes the time to show images of Marilith and Alm, the other Vessels for the world’s gods, as well as many of the NPCs players will interact with throughout the game.

In Stranger of Sword City, players will fight lineage type monsters with a party they create, giving the Blood Crystals to the Vessels they deem worthy. As players make their decisions and go through the game, they’ll learn more about the world and its gods, and eventually be the one who decides the fate of their avatar and Escario by making a choice that will lead to one of three endings.

Stranger of Sword City will come to the PlayStation Vita in Europe on April 29, 2016. It is immediately available for the Xbox One. The Windows PC version of the game will be released in June 2016.
