Comcept and Inti Creates have a new release date for Mighty No. 9. Keiji Inafune delivered a message via the official website confirming most versions of the game will be released in June 2016. The PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, and PC versions of the game will arrive in North America and Aisa on June 21, 2016, followed by a worldwide release in other regions on June 24, 2016.

This announcement doesn’t apply to the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions of Mighty No. 9. Inafune’s statement says their releases “will follow at a later point.” Abstraction Games and Engine Software are working on the handheld ports.

Mighty No. 9’s Kickstarter was launched on August 31, 2013 and fully funded on September 3, 2013 after raising $3,845,170 from 67,266 backers. The original release window was April 2015. The release date then bounced from September 15, 2015, then February 9, 2016, and then spring 2016. Inafune says the North American and Asian June 21, 2016 and worldwide June 24, 2016 release dates are “set in stone.” The same announcement also says the game has “gone gold.”
