Kick & Fennick Is Coming To Consoles

What was once a PlayStation Vita exclusive is going to appear on more platforms. Abstraction Games and Jaywalker Interactive will be bringing Kick & Fennick to the Nintendo Wii U on June 2, 2016, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launches on June 3, 2016. Accompanying the news is an announcement trailer reintroducing Kick and his robot, Fennick.

Kick & Fennick begins with a rather dire situation. Fennick needs a new energy core and will shut down without it. Kick runs, jumps, and fights his way through 45 levels to get to the Core Tower to get him one. Fortunately, Kick carries a huge gun. While it allows him to defeat enemy robots, it also helps him travel. The recoil from the gun can propel him across gaps, allowing him to go further than he would with an ordinary jump.

Kick & Fennick originally appeared on the PlayStation Vita in February 2015. It’s immediately available on the handheld for $7.99.
