Atlus uploaded the latest videos for their upcoming Nintendo 3DS dungeon crawler Etrian Odyssey V, and this time we get a look at highlights for the Masurao and Cestus classes.
The Masurao class is playable by the beast-like human race called Therian. Masurao is a frontline fighting class that specialize in attacking with several blades, making them one of the better attackers in the game.
With high speed, they’re able to get first hits in and follow up with more hits with their speed. Using all four blades, they’re also able to hit multiple enemies at once. They also have an interesting skill that gives you a chance to fight against tougher enemies, which would come in handy for getting some better experience points when needed.
If you like to punch your way through everything then Cestus is your go-to class. These guys can be played as with the more human-like race, Earthrun, and they’re frontline fighters like the Masurao, except they use their fists as weapons. Cestus are able to hit parts of enemies with high precision and even block some of their actions.
Using attacks like “Arm Break,” they can deal heavy damage and prevent them from attacking. Cestus can even use their trained bodies to counter attack when taking damage.
Etrian Odyssey V: End of the Long Myth will release in Japan on August 4, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
