Key And VisualArts’ Harmonia Delayed Again

Recommended Videos

Last year, VisualArts confirmed Key’s Harmonia would be localized and suggested it would arrive before 2015 ended. Then, in December 2015, it was delayed until spring 2016. Now that we’re officially in the midst of spring 2016, another delay has been announced via the PC game’s Steam product listing.

VisualArts doesn’t have a revised release window for Harmonia, beyond saying that it hopes to release the kinetic visual novel in 2016. It does say that the delay is due to a desire to enhance the script and sound effects. It also suggests following VisualArts on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.

Harmonia was created to celebrate Key’s 15th anniversary. It focuses on the relationship between a Phiroid boy named Rei, a robot with feelings, and Shiona, a girl who accepts and treats him as though he’s human. Even though he’s a Phiroid, he finds he doesn’t have emotions. Through living together, he learns about bonds between people and may learn to feel and appreciate them.
