Snack World To Launch For Smartphone In Japan In April 2017, 3DS In July 2017 [UPDATE]

At Level-5 Vision 2016, the company showcased the latest on Snack World, their new cross-media project that was revealed last year.   Players will get the choice of playing as the protagonist Chup or go on an adventure using their own characters. You can check out more in the gameplay video above as demonstrated by Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino.   The keychain items called “Jara” will be available as real-life items that can connect with the game to acquire the weapons. There are several “brands” of Jara with their own characteristics.     The above device called “Fairy-pon” was also showcased. It’s used to bring out monsters that can help you out, and also works with weapons. Check out the video for a look at Snack World‘s latest CG anime. LEVEL-5 abby will be handling the western expansion, though release windows have yet to be announced.
