Fuji TV announced a new anime series for PaRappa the Rapper, titled PJ Berri no Mogu-Mogu Munya-Munya, which will begin airing in Japan on August 18, 2016. While the pilot episode will release on August 18, it’ll become a regular show starting this October. The cast includes PJ Berri (CV: Jun Osuka), PaRappa (CV: Yuto Suzuki), and Chop Chop Master Onion (CV: Yoji Ueda).
The new series will be a short anime with PJ Berri as the protagonist with episdoes averaging about 96 seconds each. With the three characters leading the anime, it’s said to be a little different from the 2001 PaRappa the Rapper anime, and it’ll bring nostalgic and new feelings to an older audience.
