The Palace is basically the main dungeon of Persona 5, which replaces Shujin High School during the night time and created by distorted minds of adults. While in there, you’ll need to not only gear up to take on enemies, but also work your best Phantom Thief game to get around.

For example, you might occasionally find yourself in a situations where it looks like you can’t advance any further. By pressing the Circle button, you’ll get to step up, climb walls, take cover, or even walk across chandeliers. The action is simple enough that even novice Phantom Thieves will be able to pull off with ease.

Persona 5 is said to have an evolved version of Persona’s traditional command-based battle. By using “Direct Commands” you can attack enemies with the press of a button. By hitting their weakness, they’ll go down. Additionally, it activates the “1 More,” allowing for another attack.

You’ll also find yourself in situations during battles where you’ll get to talk to Shadows. If the conversation plays out right, the Shadow can become one of the protagonist’s Personas.

Persona 5 is releasing in Japan on September 15, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game will release on February 14 in North America, South America, and Europe.
