After two delays, Key and VisualArts’ Harmonia has a release date. The Steam product page for the kinetic visual novel has been updated and says the game will debut on September 23, 2016. Key’s 15th anniversary game was originally supposed to appear in 2015, then was delayed to spring 2016 before receiving a general 2016 launch window.
In Harmonia, players follow an sort of robot called a Phiroid, a model designed to have emotions. This particular Phiroid, named Rei, isn’t able to feel and has one hand that doesn’t have artificial skin on it. He’s found and taken in by a young woman named Shiona. As Rei interacts with Shiona and Tipi, a little girl living in a library, he’ll finally get his chance to live with and learn from humans.
Harmonia will be available for Windows PCs. The Steam release will offer Steam Achievements and support Steam Cloud saves.
