We recently learned that New Danganronpa V3 is releasing in Japan on January 12, 2017 for PS4 and PS Vita. This week’s issue of Famitsu shares the names and titles of its main characters. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]
The names and titles are for the characters shown in the above image, from left to right. (Keep in mind that names are subject to change once we get their proper readings):
- Korekiyo Shinguji: Ultimate Folklorist
- Angie Yonaga: Ultimate Fine Artist
- Zanbi Toujou: Ultimate Maid
- Shokichi Ouma: Ultimate President
- Tsumugi Shirogane: Ultimate Cosplayer
- Kiibo: Ultimate Robot
- Tenshi Chabashira: Ultimate Aikido Practitioner
- Kaede Akamatsu (Protagonist): Ultimate Pianist
- Kaito Hyakuta: Ultimate Astronaut
- Maki Harukawa: Ultimate Nursery Teacher
- Shuichi Saihara: Ultimate Detective
- Ryoma Hoshi: Ultimate Tennis Player
- Rantaro Tenkai: Ultimate ???
- Himiko Yumeno: Ultimate Magician
- Gonta Gokuhara: Ultimate Entomologist
- Usagi Iruma: Ultimate Inventor
Again, a lot of the names will likely get a different spelling or reading with furigana or romanization later, especially considering how many of them have non-traditional names, but for now we have an idea on what kind of characters we can expect to see in New Danganronpa V3.
