Dragon Quest Builders Siliconera Community Showcase

Recommended Videos

Dragon Quest Builders is a massive game. It’s so huge, it can be difficult to find the time needed to invest in every mode. Each of the campaign’s four chapters could easily take at least 10 hours, but upwards of more if you decide you want to explore every part of that island and complete every challenge. This means that the online, free building community isn’t that well populated yet. In fact, in our call for buildings last week, only two places were offered up. Don’t worry, though. We’re going to show off the amazing Speedstersonic’s Paradiso and detailed Vinny Dilallo/GameBreakers’ Retro Town, as well as some other random places I’d found that are interesting.

“Paradiso” by Speedstersonic

Summoning Spell: XRGeXRfHH

Paradiso is an actual sky-high paradise. After heading up the minecart tracks, you’ll find yourself in a lavish penthouse apartment. There’s a gorgeous living space with amenities like a luxury bed, Hammerhead plush, a Powie Yowie (or Sweaty Yeti, if you prefer) rug, and window walls offering a very of the surrounding area.

Retro Town” by Vinny Dilallo/GameBreakers

Summoning Spell: VSHAHehAN

Retro Town is a compact, retro-style town with different themed spaces on every level. There’s a workshop on the first floor, you can find a kitchen on the second, there’s a living space, an area under construction that looks like it could become a garden, and a rooftop lookout.

Greenhouse” by Takeo

Summoning Spell: DBfADbLUH

This is one that randomly appeared in Terra Incognita one day. Takeo has certainly taken advantage of the day one DLC to put together a great garden for our spaces. Since you can’t use any of the furniture or items in summoned spaces, this is a great one to make a permanent fixture. The summoned buildings are completely decorative, and what’s more decorative than a garden?

Colossus” by Rafael

Summoning Spell: cZAdlHNeK

That’s also why I’m recommending looking at Colossus, because it’s another purely decorative structure. Minecart rails have been placed around the sculpture, letting you climb up to its head in the same way a Wanderer would. I think the best touch happens to be the flaming eyes, as they’re quite an eerie sight when it starts getting dark in Dragon Quest Builders.

“Gold Castle” by Cam

Summoning Spell: TFSeXWcCF

The Gold Castle is another  random find. It’s a castle made entirely of gold. There’s a throne room with slime harp in the center, a crafting room, and a bedroom with steaming tub. Cannons are perched on the roof, constantly ready to defend the palace. I did have some trouble making the camera zoom in when in its enclosed spaces, but it’s still quite a sight to see.

Feel free to share your codes in the comments! If you missed our community call last week and leave a comment here, I’ll update this article to include your listing too! The codes above should work in both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of Dragon Quest Builders. And, if you are at the Terra Incognita point of the game, remember you can reset the unlocked islands at your banner, find blank tickets in chests at unlock islands or make Faerie Fertilizer at the Alchemist Cauldron to make things grow in your immediate area.

Dragon Quest Builders is now available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
