We’ve all seen how the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition has been selling out around the world, and Nintendo announced that the Mini Famicom has already sold 262,961 units in Japan alone.

Since its release in Japan on November 10, through November 13, the mini-console device that packs 30 popular titles from the NES/Famicom era, has sold 262,961 units in Japan.

Nintendo expects the sales to continue going up as we approach Christmas and New Year’s. Seeing how much it’s been selling out in the West with more to come before the holiday season, it’ll be interesting to see how the little nostalgia device performs around the world.
