Spike Chunsoft uploaded the latest character video for New Danganronpa V3, with a look at the Ultimate Robot Kiibo, Ultimate Entomologist Gonta, Ultimate Detective Shuichi, and Ultimate Cosplayer Tsumugi.
Kiibo (CV: Tetsuya Kakihara)
Kiibo is a robot that has a “growing AI” implemented within. He didn’t know anything when he was first born, but he has since then grown into a character with a serious personality. Since he’s a robot, you’ll occasionally hear him say things that may seem out of the blue, due to his inability to read the situation at times.
Gonta Gokuhara (CV: Shunsuke Takeuchi)
When the Ultimate Entomologist Gonta Gokuhara was a child, he got lost while looking for insects, and it took him 10 years to find his parents. During the 10 years, he was raised by a kind-hearted family of wolves, and he learned to communicate with animals and insects. Due to the way he grew up in the forest as a child, he might be missing bits and pieces of fundamental education here and there, and similar to Kiibo, he has his moments of difficulty communicating with other students at times. He has tremendous strength, but claims to have never killed an insect.
Shuichi Saihara (CV: Megumi Hayashibara)
The Ultimate Detective Shuichi Saihara grew up as an apprentice detective, helping out his uncle who runs a detective agency. While most of the cases he worked were petty ones, when he first encountered a murder case, he solved it quicker than the police. However, it was mostly by chance that he solved the murder case, so he personally doesn’t consider himself an Ultimate Detective. For this reason, he makes timid remarks, but he has exceptional abilities in taking action and striking insight.
Tsumugi Shirogane (CV: Mikako Komatsu)
The Ultimate Cosplayer Tsumugi Shirogane boasts the talent that brings corporate sponsors. While she prefers actually making the outfits over wearing them, she dislikes when cosplayers focus more on themselves rather than having love for the work, so she does the cosplaying herself. She’s an honor student-type of girl who is kind and gentle, but gets heated up when it comes to talking about cosplay. She also has the habit of completely ignoring everything around her when she’s thinking. She also has the habit of busting out quotes from her favorite titles while talking.
New Dangranronpa V3 releases in Japan on January 12, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
