Dragon Quest VIII Story Trailer Shows The Game’s English Voice Acting

Nintendo’s latest Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King acts as a bit of a refresher for people who might have missed the game back when it appeared on the PlayStation 2. In the over two minute video, we’re introduced to the antagonist, Trodain’s former jester Dhoulmagus, then get to see the hero, Yangus the bandit, King Trode, Jessica the mage, and Angelo the knight. It’s also reminds us how each character sounds, as English voice acting is present in the Nintendo 3DS release.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will come to the Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe on January 20, 2016.
