A third entry in Hal Laboratory’s BoxBoy! series has been announced. On February 2, 2017, Goodbye! BoxBoy! (Sayonara! HakoBoy!) will come to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan.

Early footage from the website shows off some of the new skills Qbby will be using in Goodbye! BoxBoy! It appears he’ll have at least two new kinds of blocks, one which turns into a bomb and another that acts like something of a rocket. We also see him escorting what can only be described as baby boxes to specific locations or safety.

71UPYbQcM-L._SL1240_ This third installment in the BoxBoy! series will have amiibo support. The Qbby amiibo can be purchased separately or in a special physical edition collection. The BoxBoy! Full Box gives you a cartridge with BoxBoy!, BoxBoxBoy!, and Goodbye! BoxBoy!, the amiibo, and a soundtrack. The physical edition will also be out on February 2, 2017 in Japan for ï¿¥3,456.

While exact amiibo support hasn’t been detailed, hanging around on the Goodbye! BoxBoy! website shows Qbby going into the shop door and coming out dressed like Kirby, complete with a block spawning ability that makes his blocks look like ones from Kirby’s Dream Land.

BoxBoy! and BoxBoxBoy! are available on the Nintendo 3DS worldwide.
