Xseed has shared a new blog regarding the localization of Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. In this blog update, details were given about the localization process for the game’s three towns, as well as the enormous amount of text that had to be translated from Japanese into English.

With approximately 2 million characters of Japanese text to be localized, Trio of Towns is the largest Story of Seasons to date, surpassing the previous title in the series which had about 1.7 million characters.

In addition to that, Xseed also shared some more about the three towns, Westown, Lulukoko Village, and Tsuyukusa Town, including details about the towns’ various cultural inspirations and the casts of characters who reside there. To read more, you can visit the Story of Seasons official localization blog.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns will release for the Nintendo 3DS sometime in Q1 2017.
