Final Fantasy XV’s Holiday Pack DLC And New Update Releasing On December 22 In Japan

Square Enix announced details on the upcoming “Holiday Pack+” for those with the Season Pass, as well as a free version of the pack. They also shared details on the update launching in Japan on December 22, 2016.

 

First, here are details on the new update content that will release alongside the FFXV Holiday Pack+ and the FFXV Holiday Pack (free version). Keep in mind that this is based on the Japanese press release, so we might get different names or terms when it releases in English.

 

New Game Plus

Using data from your cleared game, you can start over from the beginning after beating the game.

 

Social Media Photo Frames

Add fun frames, including ones with a Christmas theme and also some that say Final Fantasy XV, perfect to share your favorite pictures on social networks.

Next up are some details on DLC. On December 22, the first wave of Final Fantasy XV’s DLC will arrive with the Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack+ and Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack (free version). These will come with accessories that increases item acquisition rates, lowers stamina consumption, and other useful items. It also comes with a ticket that lets you participate in a carnival that will be available in late-January.

 

Additionally, those with the Holiday Pack will get extra costumes and photo frames in a January. Again, the Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack+ will only be available to those with the Season Pass.
